Last time I had a super girly Saturday, it consisted of yoga, fro yo, and a mani with Alexandra of The Bloginista. Now we’re back with part two of this “series.” Yes, part of the reason I have girly Saturdays is so I can blog about it. No complaints here. If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably know about some of my Saturday activities…but here’s my recap:
1. B.Y.O.M. (Bring Your Own Makeup) Event at Xquisite Hoboken

Getting my makeup done by Selda
More to come about what I learned at the Bring Your Own Makeup event at Xquisite Color & Cuts… it was such a fun idea! You bring your makeup, the professional makeup artists look through it, tell you what you need/are missing, and then they give you tips on how to use the makeup you have. Such a necessary thing to know how to do! Last but not least, they professionally apply it! Just in time for my girly Saturday of course.
2. Pedicures at The Nail Bar
You know that it’s been a while since you’ve had a pedicure when you are profusely apologizing to the nail tech…which Alex and I were both doing. Oops. We opted for new spring Essie colors. I went pink, she went lavender. It felt so good to have clean and freshly polished toes!
3. Cucumber Slices from Maxwell’s 9.13.34

Shea Butter & Pure Vegetable Soap…smells so yum.
Normally a vintage jewelry and accessories boutique (open on select weekends), Maxwell’s 9.13.34 actually recently added some beautiful skincare products. While shopping around, we snagged some cucumber pads for your eyes that were there. Can’t wait to use them midweek when I’m feeling exhausted!
4. More Shopping. Duh.
First stop: Townhouse, one of my fave stores in Hoboken.

My New Necklace from Townhouse (and a trial run with my new glasses)
I’m obsessed with this spring-y necklace. Very J.Crew-esque, I’d say. It came home with me!
I also recently got this chevron top & emerald necklace from Jenna @ The Factory Boutique(91 Park Ave) which recently opened. How adorable is this combo?
5. Cupcakes from Sweet Hoboken

MMMMMmmm…
It was really hard to choose a flavor, but I opted for a banana mini cupcake with cream cheese icing. It was amazing. Alex went with chocolate chip cheesecake.
6. A Very Girly Surprise at the End:
Could it be? A blow dry bar coming to Hoboken? This sign was in the window of a building on 4th and Bloomfield. CANNOT WAIT. How about you?!
So, the moral of my Saturday is:
What did you do this weekend? Hope it was wonderful!
